Since speed is critical in today’s business, there is an increasing need to be able to do business equally from one's desk as well as an outside location. But at the same time, information leakage incidents involving the use of mobile computers and home computers remain rife. Thereupon, NRI Secure’s proposal: the “FNC Mobile Service.”

What is “FNC Mobile Service”?

“FNC Mobile Service” is a SaaS-based remote access service that allows for secure connection from a remote home or outside computer to a host office computer.
In this service, a dedicated USB token is inserted into the remote computer to invoke the host computer’s Desktop. To prevent information leakage by taken out files, only the host computer screens are transferred to the remote computer.

Amid recent calls for changes in the way of working, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is receiving increased attention.
This service will allow you to not only introduce the BYOD concept to your company but also to increase the convenience by ensuring powerful security measures at a low price when allowing the use of private terminals.

This service does not require dedicated equipment or settings change in the existing network (* the host computer must be able to connect to the outside using HTTPS) since it is SaaS-based.
Furthermore, this service can be implemented in a few days and it only costs ¥1,500/month per user.

Advantages of introducing FNC Mobile Service from the security viewpoint

• Prevention of information leakage
   Information leakage is prevented by allowing only the transfer of screens and prohibiting the transfer of files from the host computer to the remote computer. No data is left on the remote computer since operations are performed within the thin client launched from the USB token.
• Prevention of spoofing
   Unauthorized access by spoofing is prevented by a two-factor authentication, achieved by assigning unique ID numbers to the USB tokens.
• Prevention of eavesdropping on the communication path
  Eavesdropping on the communication path is prevented by encrypting the communication.
• Host computer restriction
  Connection is allowed only to a host computer to which the USB token has been associated with in advance.
